Welcome to Tampa First ~ Our DNA
“We are a MULTICULTURAL family.” We are a diverse family from many different nations and cultures using three different languages: English, Spanish and French Creole. While we value the diversity and attempt to blend the different cultures into our worship and community life, we are committed to being Christians. Galatians 3:28 describes this unity in diversity; “There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you all are one in Christ Jesus.”
“We are a CHRISTIAN people.” Jesus Christ is the foundation and focus of everything we do. Our mission is to help people know and grow in Christ. We are committed to offering the hope of Jesus Christ to all people regardless of their background, past or present life struggles. We desire to join in ministry with all people and churches that lift up the name of Jesus Christ.
“We are a HOLINESS people.” When we submit our lives totally to Jesus Christ He fills our hearts and directs our lives with His Spirit. His holiness fills our lives which results in a consuming love for God and others. Our mission is to help people love God and others.
“We are a MISSIONAL people.” Our mission is Jesus’ mission. He came to offer God’s abundant life to every person. Our mission is to help people serve the church, community and world. This mission begins in our families; it extends to our neighbors, the community around the church, Tampa Bay and the world. We support missionaries and missions around the world.
Senior Pastor — Pastor Randy Gant (email@example.com)
Pastor Randy Gant and his wife Linda have served the church and followed the call of God on their lives around the world, literally. They have served in Kentucky at two different churches. Throughout the 1990’s they were on missionary contract (appointed in 1992) with the Church of the Nazarene for nearly 10 years serving in East Africa. They served as Assistant to the District Superintendent in Chicago, doing cross-cultural ministry in that great city. They pastored on the Big Island of Hawaii and then re-started a church in Springfield, Missouri. For the past five years Pastor Randy and his wife have been serving in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Their work has circled the globe and have made dear friends, colleagues, and memories all along the way.
