The children in our church are essential to Tampa First. We believe it is our responsibility to work alongside parents in a supportive role, helping them accomplish the goal God has given them. We want to lay a spiritual foundation and teach children about God so they might have a personal relationship with Him. We teach Biblical truths to children in a fun loving, hands-on nurturing and age-appropriate environment. We offer programs and activities to help nurture the spiritual growth of your child.
Nazarene Mission International
Tampa First has a strong call to missions, both locally and abroad. We have done various mission projects locally here in Tampa and several overseas Work and Witness projects.
Youth Ministry is a vital part of Tampa First. We want to call our youth to a DYNAMIC life in CHRIST and lead them into a LIFELONG relationship with Jesus. We also want our youth to grow as young Christians along side each other and enjoy a sense of community within youth group. We encourage our young people to be Christ-like followers and empowering them to serve others. We offer activities to help your teen grow and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
Tampa First Adults are a lively bunch that serve in many capacities. From helping to take care of their grandchildren, to helping with the youth and children at Tampa First, to missions, to praise and worship, to MOB (Men’s Only Breakfast), to First Ladies, they keep active!
Discovery Groups offer the opportunity to dig into God’s Word in a small and informal setting. Each class is encouraged to have fellowship times and when in need, they will be there offering you support. They are offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM. Groups are available for ALL age groups and are offered in English, French and Spanish for adults.
We believe that people should encounter God’s presence in our singing and praise for Him. God is passionate about hearing from His people who praise Him in unity and with humble, honest hearts. In our Sunday worship gatherings, we are reminded of who God is and what He has done/is doing in our lives and the world around us. But it’s not a spectator sport, WORSHIP is a verb! There are several areas you can participate in expressing your thanksgiving to Him, from musicians, to vocals, to technicians.
